Do women need men as much as they need oxygen?

Its just young love and it works both ways... I know plenty of young men who are incredibly and completely besotted with their female companions. Also it was my Dad who suffered the most after my parents got divorced, even though he was the one to end it. My Mom recovered after a year and moved on, however he sunk into a deep depression that lasted for quite a few years.
