Know any good songs for this scene of my film?

I'm making a short film for my high school's film festival. It's about a gnome that gets removed from the only home he's ever known, his garden. The scene I need music for is this: he's walking around the city, sad, head hung, looking for somewhere to go. Maybe he'll take a bus, or see a help wanted sign, or go to a pet store because he sees birds like he used to see in his garden, I don't know yet. So I need a song, something with a lot of piano maybe, sad-sounding and dejected, but still a little light-hearted because...it's just a gnome.
