Feeling alone and dejected...can someone from internet help?

Your evaluation of your treatment plan may well be correct. In that case, get a second opinion. I can't say why your self esteem is low. If you become expert at some field of interest, you will feel better. But as I don't know you or your diagnosis, I could only make generic suggestions, like sketching people at the coffee shop, taking up guitar, reading a good book, studying a period in history, listening to good music, making plans with friends, going to the gym, coloring your hair, connecting with a family member or old friend, remodeling your home, getting a better job, smiling, or meeting with someone with a good sense of humor. This person will make you laugh, and you will feel better. I only know what makes me happy, and that is sewing. My older sister is an artist, and my younger sister a photographer. Both are very sociable with many friends, children, nieces, grandchildren and an active life. Probably, you will have to discover what makes you happy. If these counselors have not found the right treatment plan for you, change. Also, learn about deep breathing and yoga to help relax. If you have further concerns not addressed, post again.
